Winston-Salem Wolves Game Postponed

As a reminder, Sunday’s scheduled game (March 15, 2020) against the Hickory Hoyas has been postponed, due to the current ongoing COVID-19 outbreak and additionally, to comply with the Executive Order from North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper, limiting groups of 100 persons or more to gather. While we are incredibly thankful that the size of our fan base has continued to grow, that size of fan base, combined with both facility availability and ongoing concerns about exposing fellow citizens to illness led to the decision to postpone the event.

It is our hope to reschedule this game in the future, however at this time we are simply postponing until further details are made available; additionally, we urge all of our Winston-Salem neighbors, fans and North Carolina residents to visit NCDHHS.gov for the latest updates and information.

As to next steps, as of now we have no further details regarding upcoming games or the season, and we are monitoring the situation as best we can, as are many of you. While we are, like you, disappointed that the sports world has come to a halt, we also are aware that we are part of a society that is much larger than sports and we must be mindful of that. Thanks so much to the Triad community, Winston-Salem, Clemmons, Kernersville and all of the surrounding areas that have supported us during our first two seasons.
